A lifelong Pacific Northwest native, Meghanne Storey has always been surrounded by the natural beauty of the region—and the music within her. Meghanne is known for her emotive, folk-inspired music. Her style often blends elements of indie, folk, and pop, with deeply personal lyrics and a focus on storytelling. ​

However, life hasn’t always been easy. During the 1990s, she faced the challenges of homelessness. During this time, music became her anchor, a creative outlet that allowed her to process the complexities of her world. She began writing songs that not only gave her solace but also gave voice to her experiences.

Today, Meghanne is an accomplished singer-songwriter, performing her music to audiences far and wide. Her mission is deeply personal: to connect with people through her songs and her story. By sharing her journey, she aims to inspire empathy and understanding, encouraging others to see the humanity in everyone, no matter their life circumstances.

With a voice as compelling as her story, Meghanne Storey continues to make an impact — one song at a time.

Meet the band

​Meghanne Storey has teamed up with Doug McGrew on drums and Brandt Parke on guitar to form a band. Together, they play a mix of their own songs and well-known covers, all with their own special twist. Their music includes styles like alternative grunge, blues, and popular songs from the 90s and later.
Meghanne Storey, Lead Vocalist: Meghanne is a singer-songwriter based out of the  Seattle area. Meghanne is known for her emotive, folk-inspired music. Her style often blends elements of indie, folk, and pop, with deeply personal lyrics and a focus on storytelling. Storey’s sound has been praised for its raw honesty and captivating melodies, often reflecting themes of love, loss, and self-discovery.
Brandt Parke, Lead Guitar; Back up Vocals: Brandt is a talented instrumentalist who graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with a Bachelor’s in music. He has been involved in, and currently continues to be involved in, several creative musical projects; such as Silent D, Mister Master and EBrake. Brandt is a grunge inspired, lightning fast player with a heart of gold and a love for jazz. 
Doug Mcgrew, Drums: Doug is a seasoned drummer who has done everything from playing small local stages to big stages with hundreds of people in the audience and every time, no matter what, he always performs at his very best. Doug is a graduate from Cornish School of Music with a Bachelor’s in Music and he has been involved in many musical projects over the years.
